First Part Of My Knitting Project

Well here's the first part of my new knitting project finished :)

It's a dolls dress and is part of a layette, so still got lots more to do.

It does help distract me and relax me :)

That's beautiful! I've recently learnt to knit but am still on scarves! I have no idea how you'd do something like that, it's amazing!

That's so beautiful! I'm knitting a blanket at the moment, anything square or rectangular shaped is all I can do :D you'll have to teach me to knit like that.

I've been knitting since I was a child so I have a few years experience behind me.............not many.............cos I'm only young yet :winks:

To all that are learning. Just keep practising :)

Knitting is only based on 2 stitches, knit and purl and any patterns that you see are just a few little extra bits in between.

Once you've mastered the knit and purl stitches, look for some easy knitting patterns that only involve either all knit, or stocking stitch, which is one row knit , the next row purl.

Try some small items first. I'll have a look and see if I can find any easy knit, free patterns for you to have a go at :hugs:
