View Full Version : I made it to Croatia!
I am not going to say it was easy because it wasn't. I cried in the departure lounge and cried even more as we were taking off. I tried to get through without a diazepam but gave in and took one. I managed to take some photos out of the window before we landed. I am feeling really tired now. My mouth is still throbbing from the tooth extraction. It is raining here and not very warm but the weather is supposed to hopefully improve tomorrow. I am still feeling quite anxious but I think that has been made worse by the pain in my mouth. Thank you all for the encouragement to get me here.

Had a bad morning - ended up taking diazepam :( but then had a really nice afternoon!

I have never been to Croatia, the closest countries I been to is Greece and Bulgaria.

This is the first time I have been. I have been to Slovenia a few years ago and loved it there. The buildings here are really old. The one we are staying in is an old Venetian gothic house.

It is the first time I have looked out of the window on a plane to take photos :) My husband couldn't believe it...I was so busy taking photos that I forgot to be anxious when we were landing :D

It has been sunny today 20 degrees and the forecast is looking good for tomorrow. the warmer weather today has cheered me up and made me less anxious :)

Today has been sunny again but not too hot which suits me. We have been to the amphitheatre in Pula. Unfortunately the water supply in the town we are staying has stopped working and we have had no water al day..hoping they will sort it for tomorrow. Have been out to buy large bottles of it.
You are doing really well, Annie, getting out and about. I am very impressed.
WELL DONE!! I went last July and I LOVED it!! I went to Split and then to Hvar.
