Hello everyone. I just found this site today through the No Panic website, and I thought I'd say Hi and introduce myself.
I'm from Birmingham in the UK, where I live with my lovely other half. I'm late thirties, he's early forties (that's age, not the 1930's and 40's!)
I've had a real struggle in the last year with anxiety and depression, and although I'm feeling quite ok at the moment, I'm trying to find out more about both conditions to help myself because from experience I think they may return at some point, as I've had them both on and off since childhood.
I still have a social anxiety and health anxiety, but the depression is ok for the moment. Not taking any meds, but I'm doing an online CBT course.
Wish I'd found this site last year when I was climbing the walls every night in near-panic and sick with fear over health. But better late than never, eh?
