I'm about to switch to this from Sertraline and I'm taking lanzoprazole for the heartburn it's given me.

I've read online that I should not take these together, although in the leaflet it only mentions omeprazole.

Just spoken to a pharmacist who said there was no problem with cipralex and lanzoprazole together.

Am a bit worried now...anyone help?

PS the GP wrote the 2 on the same prescription and nothing got flagged up

Both Lanzoprazole and omerprazole are PPIs, (Protein Pump Inhibitors).

I found that link.

Thanks.

It seems its omeprazole that is the culprit...which is what it says in the packet too. That link says its not a big deal anyway. Puts my mind at rest a bit :yesyes::yesyes:
