beta blockers

hi everyone :D
went to the docs today and he has put me on beta blockers as well as the sertraline(which i have been taking for two weeks now) told him that i felt more panicky than before i went on them so he gave me the b/b. just wondered what other people were like on them??? did they help etc??

Hi Mandy Im on beta blockers,I have found they have helped me,but everyone is different.The sertraline may make you feel worse for a while,but usually the side affects settle down.

Hi Mandy,

I had beta blockers. Atenolol 25mg. It basically chilled me out slightly and meant the fog cleared a bit for me. They definitely helped get me away from the acute anxiety.

Hi Mandy. I Have Been On These For Nearly A Month Now. They Took About 2 Weeks To Kick In, But They Have Really Helped Me, I Can Go Shopping With Friends, Without Panicking, But I Havnt Tried Going Shopping Alone Yet. They Really Help With The Anxiety Symptoms, But I Feel A Bit Worse For Wear, Near To My Monthly Cycle..good Luck.
