Popped into my Local LLoyds pharmacy today and notised a sign saying they do food intolerance testing with a firm called www.Yorktest.com.
So Ive just visited the web site and it says they send out a questionair to each customer after the results have been obtained and they changed their diet .

It gives a list of the percentage of people who reported Moderate to High benifit......
psychological ie deppression, adhd, panic attacks 81%

infact this was the highest score compared to other problems, eczema, arthiritis ect.

The kit cost £19.99 but I dont know if its just the first payment ?

Hi Mirry, it sounds interesting, will have a look at the website myself. I'm naturally a bit sceptical about these claims but for £20 it might be worth a go?

Hey Mirry

I've heard of diet affecting anxiety, and hormones. So I guess they could have a point in a way. Intolerance is not the same as allergy, and can affect our bodies in different ways.

Keep us posted! :D

ok, i have read the one from the chemist and doctor hilary jones has put his name to it.The British allergy foundation recommends it too !

The bad bit is it costs more like £100 ish, the £19.99 test just lets you know if you do have intolerances but the expendsive tests goes into what exactly.

I have read how they do the tests and its exactly what my son has done at southampton hosptial, they always go on about his IGE or IGg levels.

It seems strange that I go from feeling shakey all the time to feeling really calm but apparently if you have a intolerance you can feel the effects of eating something your intolerant to for 48 hours !

I sometimes get palpatations after eating a main meal ,
so what they are saying is the effects can have a delayed reaction up to 48 hours.

Very interesting, do we have any rich volenteers ? :D
