Hi guys on 0.5mg 1 a day, trying to wean down goodness me the rebound anxiety is awful....... any suggestions i can do this right??. It's just hard to go about my day like this feeling heady /sick. :blush::blush::blush:

Hi there. I'm withdrawing diazepam too and I know exactly how you're feeling!

The most important thing I can recommend, and that is well documented, is that you need to switch to a benzo with a longer half life such as Diazepam. The equivilent dose is 5mg diazepam.

Having a longer half life makes it easier to withdraw. You then need to make cuts of no more than 0.5mg diazepam every 2-4 weeks or whenever you feel comfortable.
