Panic before going on vacation.

Hello. I am new here and hope to get help/suggestions/reassurance from site users. Does anyone ever experience extreme anxiety prior to going on vacation? I become almost frozen with fear and panic...and this is supposed to be fun! I feel dread, chest pains, exhausted, physically ill and emotionally spent.

I get extremely anxious before I go on holiday. I started a thread about it when I booked my last holiday http://www.nomorepanic.co.uk/showthread.php?t=129597 I always enjoy it once I am there but I often feel like not going the days leading up to it.

Thank you to those who responded. I feel better today, physically and emotionally. Asking for help is vital for me. I had a friend come over and help me pack today. Sounds silly, but I needed someone with me to get it done. So much pain to go through just to have fun...crazy!
