Anyone help?

hi guys.

so as you all may know my anxiety came back recently and got quite bad, with obsessive thoughts I was going mad and panic attacks etc etc. tried ssri's but have bad side effects.

4 days ago the doctor prescribed me to take 5mg of diazepam 3X a day and then after a week 2mg X3 day. im just worried as I her bad things about withdrawels and stuff. but they are making me feel better! the only thing that has so far!


is 2 weeks a short enough period not to have any side effects or what?

any help would be great.

I'm scared to take diazepam has it helped you? I've been prescribed 2mg but worried myself x

They will be fine to take for a short time and it sounds like the doctor is being sensible and reducing the dose after 1 week so I wouldn't worry about them. I have taken them for short term before.

they REALLY DO work. I thought nothing=g would work except time.....my god these re like mirscle tablets.......just a shame about the short term use........Im just scared of coming off and then having really bad anxiety again ;( . but hopefully not :D how long was u on them annie?
