Hi all,

I have been suffering from what I believe is a recurring anxiety after two years of being anxiety "free". I had woken up one more after a night of drinking about 5 weeks ago and I felt out of breath. Partner rang ambulance, they did all the usual checks on me and it all came back clear. Been backward and forward to my GP, Walk in centres, and E&A, EKG, chest x-ray you know it, the whole work.

I admit that I've been seeking out to Dr. Google tonight to find out of any physical causes of anxiety. I somehow landed myself on the NHS website on Pulmonary Embolism. One thing I have noticed is that they have listed anxiety in such a broad term as one of the main symptoms. Now you know where this is going, I have pretty much convinced myself that I have PE. With that, could anyone care to explain why the NHS have listed anxiety in such a broad term, surely it's going to cause a lot of panics among anxiety/panic suffers?
