Having my MRI today need support

I'm having my MRI tonight. I'm very nervous and worried about the outcome. It all I can think about non stop even sleeping I dream about the MRI. So does this sound like I'm stressed about this? I'm having a brain MRI due to a sensation in my face. Any advice from anyone? :hugs:

good luck. All you have to think is that you are trying to sort this problem out and this is a positive step towards it. Just close your eyes and think of the beach

I say the same as pringles...It will soon be over with just think about something nice or hum a little tune in your head to distract you :)

I'm more worried about the outcome of the MRI then anything.

I too have a tingly sensation in my face and doc told me it is nothing after performing a number of tests....so everything should and will be fine.

Really! Oh that makes me so happy! Well my mind, did you to have an MRI?

No. After performing tests he told me that he could find nothing physically wrong with me......all in my head he thought.

I have sensations only on my left side below my lower lip and I can confess it gets worst when I worry.

Me to wrose when I worry after my doctor has said ill send you for an MRI the sensation has been there non stop cause its all I think about. I do have a lot off jaw issues, it clicks a lot every time I yawn it clicks and sometimes my jaw is be so sore it will last for days and very hard to eat solid foods. It comes and go that part. So I'm not sure if this sensation is part of it or not.

Same here. Sometimes ear feels full too when I worry. I do not think you need to worry. How many hours from now will you get the mri....so I can pray for you?

I had stinging, numbness and burning sensations side of head and my MRI was clear, was a total shock to me!! Let us know how it goes. :hugs: xx

I'm doing alright, the MRI was a bit scary I could not wait to get out of it. Then after the test was over they come in to get you and all I could think about was she has this look on her face that says poor you cause she knows she has seen my brain. Without asking she tells me your doctor will have your results in a few days. All that has worried me. My mind has geared in that direction yup! I'm so very worried! :weep:

Hi tinker. If there was something wrong, they would keep you in hospital rest assured, or send you to the doc straight away.

I have regular mri scans and waiting for the result is the worse bit, try and keep calm and you will be so proud of yourself once you have done it blessings
