I have been on 30mg of amitriptyline for 12 months or maybe more as I suffered from headaches because of anxiety.
My doctor has suggested I higher it back up to 50mg to help with my sore throat.

Three nights ago, I started to higher medication to 40mg but have noticed no difference.

Could anybody inform me if taking an extra 10mg will work straight away as the amatriptyline is already in my system or do I
have to wait a week or two for the extra 10mg to work?

I'm taking it for health anxiety?
