?? Head zaps

I'm not sure if that's the right term but on going to sleep I often get a frightening sensation in the head. It feels a bit like a quick firework. Some nights more than one, some nights none at all. Can you tell me what it is and is there anything I can do to stop it. Cheers

Yes could be zaps they are hard to describe are you changing any meds that can be a cause of them blessings

i used to get the 'brain zaps' real bad everytime i stopped taking paxil- for me it was like my own personal shock therapists- like a quick volt of electricity right in my brain- very strange sensation- weened off the paxil for the last time a year ago- not to give med advice but benedryl (diphenhydramine) helped a little with the brain zaps- good luck-

I get them all the time, I guess we shouldn't worry about them..
