My poor girlfriend has a bad toothache- most probably an abscess. She has an appointment at the dentist for 3pm tomorrow. Meanwhile we have whole cloves and whiskey. Does anyone know- do you soak the cloves in the whiskey and then apply to the sore gum or what?

I just either dab whiskey on the tooth or you can buy clove oil from the chemist. In my opinion the clove oil works best. A word of warning though..only dab a small amount on the tooth as it is quite strong :)

Try and just get it on the cavity/tooth as it stings/burns a bit but it does work. Paracetamol is good too. (or Ibruprofen)
