Eye Pain

Hi, when I rub my eye (left eye) or even blink it hurts, I'm not sure if it's the actual eye or socket can't identify where the pain is coming from. It only happened this morning.
And I haven't hit it or anything.

could be hayfever related, or you may have something in it, hopefully if its the latter it will work its self out blessings

at closer inspection the area around my left tear duct is ever so slightly swollen.
unnoticeable if you don't actually look for it.
Thats the area that hurts too. Can you get sty in that area? if not it must well might be an infection.
