Increased dose how long for kickin

I am 10 days in of fluoxtine increase from 20mg to 40mg i am having really tough days help how long for the new dose to kick in

I have not increased myself but know some that have and it does take a while for it to start to work properly about three to four weeks, it can make you feel worse for a while but that is normal, I am sure in a another week or so things will have calmed down a lot, this is a tough bumpy road but it is worth it in the end.

Hi Aggie,
I'm on day 5 of my bump from 40 to 60 and I feel the same as you... I assumed it would take time for the side effects to start but I suppose not. So, now just hanging on or the ride. Hang in there, we can do this together :)

I think it'll be so helpful! How are you feeling today? Mornings are my rough spot, my heart feels like its fluttering in my throat... did your doctor give you anything to take along with the prozac? I take xanax first thing in the morning :blush:
