Dry throat clear mucus

Does any1 else suffer from throat trouble ? I.e clear mucus ,dry throat ,throat feels like its closing, my doctor diagnosed me with health anxiety a few weeks back and I'm still waiting on appointment with physician . But have been getting this weirdness in my throat for many weeks now can any1 shine any light on this for me thanx .

ive been having this for weeks now, its driving me insane! its starting to hurt my thoat too :9

Thanx for taking time to reply . I'm scared now to contact doctor about it as he has already diagnosed me with health anxiety n will think it's all in my head . I don't even have any advice with stopping it :mad:

my gp told me it could be hay fevery or allergy related as id not long had a virus, i also noticed my sinus's were burning, but as far as he was concerned as the plegm was clear, it wasnt a cause for concern x

I've got the throat problems too...dry, always clearing my throat, clear mucous, always feels scratchy, ear pain, throat feels like it's closing or i'm being choked....saw an ENT 2 weeks ago..he says it looks like acid reflux..he is sending me for a barium swallow test to confirm it...my gp knows I have health anxiety and I have no doubt he thought it was all in my head...the ENT thought differently tho
