I was just wondering what the difference its between prozac and effexor? i know one is ssri and other is snri think? but dont they both do the same thing? and which works better for panic? opinion wise?:blush:

Different people react different to different types of meds. What works for one person doesn't always work for another. I tried ssri's and they didn't work for me, the only ones that help me are the tricylic which are an older type of anti depressant. They all do similar things though.

good to know:) ive never heard of tricylic. Im on about my 3rd week of prozac. im thinking if this doesnt help to try snri. thank you for your response!!
