swollen gland neck?

Is it normal to have small pea shaped under my chin, not sore but was just checking and found one on the right hand side of under chin. is it always there and i havent noticed it till now or is it swollen?

could i have pea shaped and it not be swollen? whats the differenmce between normal and swollen please?

It's probably a lymph node. Sometimes it swells up to fight an infection. Since you're having a sore throat now, it's probably a little swelled up.
Is it movable? If it is, I probably won't worry about it too much. It will subside.

its just one side and only hurts when i press it

I read that they are normally pea size! You don't always feel them.
I can feel all my tiny ones in groin, but at present stressing due to a big one that I have to monitor for another 3 weeks!
