At the moment I'm taking nexium for stomach acid, antibiotics and paracetamol for tonsilitis, and 2.5mg valium for anxiety. None of them do the same thing and I've checked to make sure there's no interactions, but it still feels weird to be taking four medications every morning :-/ I always remember stories of celebrities dying from mixtures of prescription drugs, but I assume they were sleeping pills and stuff. Anyone else taking so much stuff?

I take aspirin, thins the blood,
Librium , to calm me down
simvastatin, for high cholesterol
mogadon, to help me sleep
cocodamol for pain
movicol for bowels
zantac for stomach acid
Am doing ok with these meds at the moment.
The chemist should tell you if there is anything you should not be taking.
The computers tell them.
Also if you have anything from the herbal shop, you should say what
medications you are takingxx

I have Labetalol for my blood pressure, Ativan and Zoloft for my anxiety. I don't like taking any of them because I'm worried about side effects but my sister is going through some serious mental issues and she is on a ton of meds a lot stronger than mine, she is to the point where she has to take meds for the side effects of some of her other meds. and she is fine physically so I know our bodies can handle a lot. I think the problem comes when people start mixing stuff on their own or take too much of something, your doctor knows what is ok...well most of them do, my pharmacist has helped if I ever had questions about interactions.

Thanks for sharing everyone; made me feel a bit less strange for taking so many medicines. Decided to lay off the nexium for a while anyway cos it depletes magnesium, and the last thing I need is to have more twitches

Also, I can't help but notice a lot of us are on acid inhibitors. Anxiety, eh? I'm 21.

Im really worried.. is this too much medicines? My doctor knows what I am taking and is an internist 40 years.. think he is keeping up with this and knows the possible reactions to them?

Everytime I take a ibprofen or tylenol within 12 hours I get double vision.. I have told him this and he doesn't know what is causing it. He has checked my blood and done test and checked my heart extensively so .. im really worried...
