Hi everyone,

I have always had what doctors seem to think are physical manifestations of my anxiety (have generalised anxiety, on 20mg a day of Citalopram for the last 3 years).I used to get a lot of aches and pains in my joints but they seem to have gone away.

My current issues are:

- fatigue. I find it really hard to know what's normal and what isn't, but I can easily sleep for 12-14 hours a night (I work flexibly from home so can work when I am awake!) If i exert myself, I really suffer with aches and tiredness for the next few days.
- Restless legs from about 8-9pm every night
- Frequent mouth sores (ulcers and/or cold sores)
- Frequent thrush (or some other kind of vaginal infection)
- nearly always having a sore throat/sinusitis/ear infection

I went and had blood tests done for almost everything, but the Dr just said to come back in 3 months. Previously they have found a slightly low level of ferritin.

I feel a bit like as soon as I see a Dr they look at my medical history of hypochrondria, and think all of my problems are caused by stress.

How do I get used to these symptoms if they're what I'm stuck with!
