At long last my GP has refered me to the ENT department at the hospital. He seems to think I have a drainage problem, gave me an examination, said my ear drums were puffed out with fluid behind them?? said its a chronic problem which will probably need surgery.
Has anyone else had a similar problem? he said I will have a scan and they will decide from there what to do.
The good thing is that he said im at no risk of meningitis or brain abseses, ive no infection, its all inflamation and if it is a drainage problem then it should be easy to sort out but he said i have probably had this problem all my life, ive found it hard to breath at night for as long as I can remember, lol!
Me being the worrywart I am im still a little anxious about any risks, no matter how tiny they are;)
