Hello, ive been taking propranolol for a while now, 80mg i take 40 in the morning and 40 at night, me and partner have decided to start trying for our second baby so i cut down to 40mg a day and the dr have now given me 20mg to start, untill i can finally cut off them completely, anyone had any problems coming off of them? side effects ect? thanks :)

Common: More than 1 in 100 people who take Propranolol hydrochloride
a feeling of lack of interest or lack of energy
coldness of the extremities
nightmares
Raynaud's phenomenon
sleeping problems
slower heart rate
tiredness
Uncommon: More than 1 in 1000 people who take Propranolol hydrochloride
diarrhoea
gastrointestinal problems
nausea
vomiting
Rare: More than 1 in 10,000 people who take Propranolol hydrochloride
a drop in blood pressure on standing or sitting up
blood problems
bronchospasm in people with asthma or who have had asthma - this may be fatal
confusion
dry eyes
eye or eyesight problems
fainting or brief loss of consciousness
feeling dizzy
hair loss
hallucinations
increased pain in calf when walking
memory problems
mood changes
other heart problems or worsening of heart problems
paraesthesiae
psoriasis or psoriasis-like rash
psychosis or psychotic-like behaviour
skin rash or rashes
unexplained or easy bruising of the skin or mucous membranes
worsening of psoriasis
Very rare: Fewer than 1 in 10,000 people who take Propranolol hydrochloride
autoimmune problems
lowered blood sugar levels - Propranolol hydrochloride may hide symptoms of low blood sugar levels and if levels drop too low, seizures or coma may occur
myasthenia gravis or worsening of myasthenia gravis
The frequency of these side-effects is unknown
abnormal laboratory test results
brain and central nervous system problems in people with liver problems
hiding symptoms of thyrotoxicosis
lowered blood pressure
may affect the results for certain tests
worsening of allergic reactions
worsening of circulation problems
