Hi there,
I've been suffering from Agoraphobia for a while now, for the second time in my life. I'm able to go short distances with my best friend, but it makes me incredibly anxious, and takes me many days in bed to recover.
I've tried therapy, and medication and none of it has really helped.
I was wondering if anyone had any practical advice for me?
I've read a lot of the threads, but it's a lot of things like 'try CBT' (which I've tried), and not so much practical steps.
Any help would be much appreciated, as I can barely get to my own mailbox.
Thanks so much!
Bella.

Hi Isabella and :welcome: , the only thing I can say is ,you are managing short distances, so why not add on another few minutes to that each day or week.

I have a similar problem, in not leaving my own town driving. One day I am determined to go that wee bit further.

I know it isn`t easy.
