Throat

Hi everyone I'm new here and am looking for help. I have a lump on my thyroid going under the breast bone I also have a sore throat toothache and a burning on the tongue plus blood in mucus from my nose. I have visited the doctor who had said that they will have to send me for a scan which could be weeks away. I'm so scared that this is something serious and cannot get it out of my mind please help

I'm sorry, there isn't much I can do. I do know though that if they think it is an emergency you are seen extremely quickly usually... maybe go back and talk to the GP again for some reassurance? What did they say to you when you went?

They didn't think it was anything serious but could not say for definite until I have a scan which can be up to 3 to 4 weeks. They are taking my bloods this afternoon

not sure what the cause is but try not to jump to conclusions if you can help it, may be infection they may find the cause via blood tests so you may not need scans you never know blessings
