View Full Version : My daughter in law is in labour

and the waiting is driving me crazy! I haven't heard anything since 1pm when she was still at home but contractions every 15 mins and expecting to be in hospital by this evening.
My son will not be in touch until its over, he won't be thinking of anyone or anything understandably.
Of course I have already gone through all the things that could go wrong and I feel just like I do when I am in a panic about a health symptom.

So my health anxiety covers everyone and everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aw how wonderful! You will be a grandma soon! Just picture the end product, not the in-between bits. And congratulations! :)

I was right to be worried!! Baby boy born by emergency c section at 3am this morning and thankfully both okay but it was a close call as baby was stuck and in distress and she had to be transferred from one hospital to another 40 miles away for emergency c section and they said it was just in time for baby.

Aw, that's the problem with anxiety, when is your instinct right?? Anyway that's how I was born and I've done okay. MANY MANY congratulations!! :D

Weirdly I was awake then and thinking about when I was in labour and sending good thoughts to all new mums. So glad they are fine. xx

Congratulations :) Glad everybody is ok, that can be scary. My nephew was emergency c section too, can be frightening.
