Can Anyone explain this...?

Hey everyone I have something I don't understand I am hoping anyone can help coz its frieking me out.... I am extremely knakered so I close my eyes and I am not asleep... And I mean just literally shut my eyes and I will imagine a conversation past/ future and how it could go! Anyway that's not all its random stuff I 'dream' or imagine then a few seconds/ minutes pass and I jerk 'awake' like randomly am hour ago I felt myself drifting but I wasn't asleep I imagined picking out chilli as my boyfriend doesn't like them in his salad then I jerked up! Please help that's the best I can explain....... Anyone??t

That is extreme fatigue I think, I used to get a similar thing when I was breastfeeding a baby who harly ever slept!

I think sometimes we fall asleep and dream even when we believe we were wide awake. I know this has happened to me, especially during times when I was extremely fatigued.
