Racing heart again!!!!

Hi
Who's up and can help me just some advice on what
to do, so fed up now of this happening....fall asleep and
wake with my heart racing, 102 this time, just want to know
what could be wrong, it's so scary
I will know more next week when I see the cardiologist
but until then just need some reassurance and would
like to know if anyone else suffers with this

The body gives a shot of adrenaline to the heart to wake us, so it's not uncommon to wake with racing heart.

Hi mandshere - your max heart rate is 220 - your age. So even for a 100 year old 120 would be considerd high but within range.

I've had this recently, if you've eaten late, had a bad dream , anxiety or being woken abruptly.

You've got cardiol next week so try & detract yourself & soon enough you'll get to the bottom of why this is happening. Im sure you'll be fine :winks:
