3 days ago I bought myself an ice-cream horn and put it into the freezer. Today I took it and ate it. It tasted normally, was a bit crystallized maybe, like small ice crystals in it and the top of it looked kind of deformed. But I ate it. Later I realized that maybe it could have melted somehow in the shop and it was refrozen again and that's, why the top of it looked that strange.

Now i'm freaking out since it's generally known that refrozen ice-cream may be dangerous - salmonella and other nasty things. What is more, when I bought it, it was really, really hot outside, like in the oven.

I'm afraid of being sick, it's my worst nightmare. Is it possible that this ice-cream could have been poisoned?

Very unlikely, most things in my freezer have ice crystals on them. It's just your anxiety putting thoughts in your head x
