Palpitations and chest pains during sex?

Hi everyone. Rarely I get palps during it, but sometimes a string of palps in a row or a constant flutter for a few seconds during intercourse, often followed by an odd pain in my chest similar to a palp. Anyone know what this is? Never mentioned to doc, had ecgs and echocardiogram done in the past and all was fine.

Yes it's the same as the heart rate rising during exercise, and due to anxiety you will of course suffer symptoms upon noticing it. It's quite common and normal when sexually excited to have a rise in HR and BP :)

It's normal during sex, it's possible that your body is overreacting to the experience. Normally your heart rate goes up but when you have anxiety about your heart rate or even sex itself then you become overly aware of what is happening which only makes it worse. Don't focus on it.
