Can someone tell me what they can look for with your heart with a standard chest X-ray?
Enlargement, fluids, blood vessel abnormalities, signs of infection, of course there's the lungs and pleuae too, the oesophagus... Quite a lot but really just any signs of abnormalities in the organs and tissues.

I'm having a chest X-ray for my back and spine. Would they still be able to see these thingS? And spot them if they weren't looking for them?
Unlikely as the intensity and exposure will be adjusted to enable the imaging of the bones to show better.
