Annoying cough won't go

I have started hitting the gym hard, I go every morning and tend to run around 8km before doing a lot of weights and a swim.

I now have this very annoying cough, it is almost pathetic as sometimes there is nothing to cough but I have a tickle in my throught / chest that makes me want to cough.

I have tried normal cough medicine but it won't touch it :(

It could be a reaction to the high pollen count. I don't suffer with hay fever but always become a bit breathless with a cough at this time of year.
