I'm new to this site having found my way he while searching for info on my meds.

I'm mid 30s, married, 2 children. Was diagnosed with PND after the second baby, given meds and never looked back. I realised that being constantly angry and irritable wasn't normal and my meds helped me feel like a real person!

Now I'm having some troubles which an increased dose hasn't helped so I've signed up for counselling. I believe my problems relate to the stresses caused by my family - mother and three sisters. I'm the sensible and responsible one so every time they do something stupid they turn to me to sort their crap out. I'm exhausted from it and need to learn to switch off and not feel guilty for leaving them to it. The youngest sister is 23 and the oldest 38 so they are certainly old enough to figure out their own problems! Now I just need to get through the next month till i can see the counsellor!

Glad to have you with us.

I've found a great deal of support and guidance since I've been here.

I'm sure you will too.
