help with blood test please

when the doctors at the ER do blood test do they check for blood poisoning?
does any one know what they check for with blood test

Blood poisoning would show up.
They always do a fbe or CBC and then any other tests that I needed depending on why you're having a blood test.

There are several tests for septicaemia, with the obvious being FBC, urine dip stick. Then again, I'm guessing you've never seen anyone with this? You really would get extremely ill.
