This time last year i had a one sided sore throat, it ruined the holiday of a lifetime for me as i panicked the whole time! I looked inside my mouth and found a rather lumpy looking right tonsil with what looks like a skin tag on it, im not sure how my tonsils looked before this as i cant ever remember looking at them! ( fixated somewhere else no doubt) anyway i eventually plucked up the courage to see ent, months later and the sore throat still up and down every few days this went on for months. Ent was completely unsympathetic to my ha, which i said i have to him straight away he said "theres no need to cry, the tonsils do look rather unhealthy so i can take them out if you want" i agreed and went off sobbing anyway miraculously i did not have another sore throat for months, i stopped checking, cancelled the tonsillectomy and everything was fine until now..... 6 months later! So i had a slight twinge in my throat and decided too look in the mirror, i cant remember if my tonsil looks any different, but ive convinced myself ifs growing an the skin tag/lump thing is too!! Im going in holiday again in 2 days and i feel like its going to be ruined again!!! Someone please help! I have a follow up App with ent 2 days after i get back and im trying to convince myself to not think about it until then!!!! I really need to hear some reassuring words!
