While I was waiting for my prescription in the Pharmacy today I was browsing the shelves when I came across Kalms. They were down from 10.99 to 4.49 so I decided to buy a box of 84 pills. Has anyone ever tried them? Each pills contains:

Valerian Extract: 33.75mg
Gentian Extract: 22.5mg
Hops: 45mg

I just took two now so I am waiting to see if they are any good:yesyes:

Hope they work for you I have tried them in past but anxiety was so out of control they didn't have any effect, I think you have to take care when taking some prescription drugs, taking herbal remedies :)

I bought some kalms years ago, but they did nothing for me either.
Vit B complex might help, but then again you have to ask at the chemist if they are suitable to take with your meds.
can you give the place you bought the kalms from to ask? You are on quite a lot meds

Nicola! Read this!

Prozac may increase Haloperidol levels in your body. Since this can increase the risk of Haloperidol side effects, Haloperidol treatment/dose should be regularly reviewed when these drugs are used together.

Using Seroquel XR and Haloperidol together may increase the risk of heart beat irregularities. As a result, Seroquel XR, Haloperidol treatment/dose and EKGs should be regularly reviewed, particularly when these drugs are used together in high doses.

Using Lyrica and Haloperidol together may increase the risk of excessive sedation. As a result, Lyrica and Haloperidol treatment/dose should be regularly reviewed when these drugs are used together - particularly in elderly or weakened patients.

And that's only the Haloperidol!

You should read the drug interactions with mine lol.

They have to list all possible things and as long as you are reviewed then you will be ok.

Edward just 2 Kalms will do you no harm. Yes there are interactions with the prescribed meds you are taking but the doctor who prescribed them will have known this. The drug interaction site says "Talk to your doctor before using haloperidol together with QUEtiapine. you may need a dose adjustment or special monitoring by your doctor to safely use both medications" I am sure your doctor will have adjusted your meds with a safe dosage so please stop worrying.

Annie,

I just got a fright. I should have spoken with the pharmacist before buying the pills. All over now :)
