Panic because of tablets? :(

Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone else gets panicky/anxious sometimes when they take medication? And any advice on how to ease it?
I'm feeling panicky at the minute after taking my propranolol :( Thanks

All I can suggest is to distract yourself and to practice slow breathing techniques. I am phobic about new medication and get myself into a state each time I have a new one. Distraction is the thing that seems to help me and thinking of the positive aspects of taking the medication and how it is going to help me. :)

I get panic at the thought of taking medication so much so I can't take any! Really annoying that you need to treat anxiety with meds but the meds cause even more anxiety! It's never ending!!!

I also get to panic some times because of medication. Especially in the evening when I have to take a combination of pills.

My mother always started panic if her sleeping pills have been finished. Because she is addicted for this.

Yes, sleeping pills are highly addictive and you can suffer rebound insomnia if you use them for two long.
