Hi just wondering if anyone else finds this ! I have been practising deep breathing for many weeks now especially first thing in the morning when my anxiety is bad what I cannot understand is it works for a while then after half an hour or so the nervous churning stomach is back again anyone got any advice would be gratefull

Hi Jessica

The trick is to keep in a deep breathing state throughout the day, the more practice you do with it, the more mindful you are of your breathing throughout the day which helps kepp the anxiety at bay.

aren't you just switching between the parasympathetic nervous system to the sympathetic nervous system?

check your breathing throughout the day and see if you revert back to shallow breathing.

you're doing the right thing practicing deep breathing. See if you can catch yourself shallow breathing throughout the day.
