nomorepanic told me about this site and I've decided to join. Many years ago, I suffered panic attacks and, then, 16 years ago, suffered a serious nervous breakdown which resulted in my spending 18 months in hospital.
I've never looked back since. I have found others who have been in a similar position to myself and that it can happen to anyone.
I have worked in a voluntary and professional capacity in the care sector and am a good listener. I have learned, over the years, that talking about something helps.
