Anyone ever seen haematologist?

Hello

Has anyone here ever been to see a haematologist for lymph nodes?

What is going to happen at my appointment on Friday?? Will it be a full half hour consultation (NHS) ? Will I have any tests there and then e.g. ultrasound??

it really depends on what the heamatologist wants to look for. Pretty much standard will be a review of blood work and clinical examination, and a few questions. Only if they want to rule things out or believe tests are necessary will any other investigations be ordered.
