I can recommend this to us HA sufferers. Like us the OCD youngsters are looking for certainty - they believe they achieve it by their rituals, whereas we look on google and forums for reassurance. It's the same thing though - we need to learn to live with uncertainty and accept that something terrible could happen, though it probably won't.
I thought there were a lot of parallels between OCD and HA sufferers in the programme. We both struggle to see things logically and create coping mechanisms to diffuse the anxiety, wether it's touching things a certain number of times or looking up ailments on the web.
I would be interested if anyone thought it gave them insight into their own HA too.
