What is this?

I used to get these, and stopped but recently I been getting them again, it's only when I'm lying down trying to get to sleep I'll get a thud or thump type of feeling in my chest/throat which will make me cough too. It don't happen all the time, but it's been happening everynight for a few nights now.

i cant get to sleep because of it, i keep closing my eyes and it wont stop.. the last one made me jump out of bed.

This happens to me regularly. It's ruined my sleep. Did you manage to sleep at all? Did you have any indigestion?

Hi thanks for asking I did eventually get to sleep, and I didn't have indigestion, although i dont normally drink coke and I've had a quite a bit past few days so it might be due to that..or stress.
