Hello. I've spent the last week reading others' stories and posts, and thought I'd actually sign up and start participating today.
I have had social anxiety all my life, I can't remember a time when I didn't have it. I've had bouts of depression, it very much runs in my family, but this year led to the worst run of it I've ever experienced so I was put on Fluoxetine. First 20mg, now 40. Anyway, that's how I found this forum... google searches trying to find out others' experiences on Fluoxetine.
Hope that wasn't too TMI... it's been oddly comforting reading everyone's personal stories. It's nice to know I'm not alone. I've heard the numbers... so-and-so many people in the world suffer from anxiety... but it's different hearing/reading personal accounts.
