Just a few quick questions; I was wondering if simply having your mind on your anxiety symptoms can cause further anxiety in the long term?

For example I've had a lot of reflux symptoms these last few months, and every day I wonder how I'm going to feel. Even when I take medication for the symptoms, I worry how long it'll last and feel depressed because I'm on medication in the first place. These thoughts continue all day; I'm constantly worried about how I'm going to feel next, and when symptoms do emerge I keep running over why they happen, especially if I eat something outside of the "Reflux Diet" I'm trying to stick to (i.e. only 25 foods such as bagels or oatmeal, which has severely lowered my quality of life... :weep: ) .

Am I just causing more anxiety this way, and therefore causing more reflux? Can reflux/burning throat/belching be caused this way? I'm really worried about the symptoms, but not even alkaline water can stop them right now..! :weep:
