FW: I felt like a mum today

I was so proud of myself today.

I went to my daughter Willows parents evening. I was petrified, the school was packed with children as it was an afternoon apt and I knew I had to sit in a small room talking.

I got there feeling very worried but I stayed !! I listened I spoke I laughed and joked and I really did enjoy doing it so afterwards, I went to the shop and did some shopping, I still cant go to the back of the shop but hey I did ok. I made myself get a number of items and I did not rush as I normally would have and I just felt so pleased and so was Willow. She told her friends her mummy was there and her face lit up.

I had some help today and a bossy bugger telling me I had to do it and Im glad I listened.

i know exactly how you feel.. i was at my sons parents evening few weeks ago and i was a nervous wreck before i went into the school.. but i just had to do some major positive thinking and i was ok.. i laughed etc with the teacher.. it felt sooo good.. although his new teacher is handsome lol

thomas was running out to his pals and saying my mums talking to the teacher etc..

it made me feel sooo good being there for my son...
