This is my daily rescue pack that I survive on since I came off Valium and Ativan. It consists of my day and night rescue sprays, my lavender oil to burn throughout the day, my Kalms, my bath soaks for the evening and my deep sleep pillow spray for the night. I hope this picture shows up now :)

How are these things working for you Edward?

Colpat:

I love my rescue sprays. I couldn't imagine being without them. I take a lavender bath each evening in my soaks which I also love. I burn lavender oil throughout the day to relax me and always use my deep sleep pillow spray at night on the pillow. I have a strict routine daily where all of these come into use, so yes, they are going good for me, thanks :)

I had a little problem with the Kalms the other day where I think they mixed with my medication, so I have cut them out of my routine, but spoke to the Pharmacist and he said it's OK. Still panicky where they are concerned though.

I used to use the Radox Lavender until I discovered this one http://www.boots.com/en/Sanctuary-Soothing-Bath-Float-400ml_1189813/
It is a lot more expensive but really nice and relaxing.
I also put a handful of magnesium salts in my bath. You can buy the magnesium in large quantities on ebay.

Do you have a routine too Annie?

I have a bath before bed with my magnesium and lavender bath float. Other than that I don't think it is a strict routine. I take Bach rescue as an when needed.

I love my rescue spray. Don't laugh, but once I told Aeneas that there was a blockage in my heart and he laughed. I sprayed it into his face because he wouldn't believe me. It turned out to be trapped wind and I wasted rescue spray!

I still haven't got rid of my pain today but sure it is trapped wind. If it was my heart I think I would be dead by now after raking the gravel and shovelling rubble in the garden and lifting heavy bags :)

Did you take any indigestion pills Annie?

Annie0904

No I didn't...oh pleased you said that...I usually use baby gripe water...will take some now :)

I never know what I said. My apologies.

That's a good idea. What is that like?

I'm panicking. Do you know the thing in the middle of your throat? It looks like a punching bag. It's after getting bigger and effects the way I swallow.

Put a pinch of salt in some warm water and gargle. Also make sure you drink plenty as it can swell if it gets dehydrated but it won't harm you so DON'T PANIC! :D

If you have any honey a spoonful of that will ease it too :)

For once I'm not panicking and ringing Aeneas complaining of deadly illnesses:D

I'll drink salted water and gargle. I'm sure I have some honey around some place too. Thanks Annie

It's more thank likely plain ole Anxiety because Mark is gone to the eye specialist today and I don't have him home with me. I sometimes have everything prepared and am terrified of change like today. Late dinner and such. :)

Annie0904

You had better not be calling the beef burger...stay calm!
I have just had my new block drive sealed and it smells awful!! Like glue. I am keeping all the windows closed other wise we will be getting high on it! I told the builder he should be wearing a mask.

You should try Epsom salts Edward, I love a bath with those. Use 100-200mg three times per week and you get all the magnesium you need for a boost to the system. Magnesium can help with lots of issues including anxiety and fatigue.

Epsom salts is what I meant :) I bath in them every day. They are also good for muscle aches and pains.

Update: Today I'm having severe panic. I think it's the Prozac. I'm about to have my lavender bath. Partner offered me a Lexaton, but I'd rather relax the normal way today. Hope the bath helps. Difficulty breathing. Will update after my bath.

You haven't updated yet Edward so I hope you are okay? Remember it is just a panic attack and can't harm you :hugs:

Hope you've managed to relax Edward. Its terrible when the panic feels unbearable. I felt bad this morning but managed to get back to sleep and woke up feeling a lot better. Hope to hear from you soon so you can let us know how you are

Update:

Hiya Annie and Bernie. This is going to be a long one, so I hope ye don't get bored.

So,
The panic attacks reached a peak after my bath. I couldn't breath with the anxiety. I got Mark to drive me to A&E where they took bloods and urine and gave me a Xanax to help relax after I first saw a nurse who took my blood pressure and pulse, which was up on the roof. My bloods and Urine came back normal. Then it was a five hour wait in Sub waiting (I requested Sub Waiting because I was anxious in the crowded waiting room) to see the Psychiatrist. I honestly thought I was going out of my mind with panic and began getting very agitated and walking around disturbing the nurses while they tended to patients on trollies. They gave me another Xanax so I relaxed enough to wait it out for the on call Psychiatrist to arrive. They didn't want to give me too many sedatives because they want you to be "Sober" in a way, when you see the Doctor. I was calm enough to listen to what she said and I told her that I think it was the Prozac doing the damage and asked her could she put me back on Mirtrazapine because I believe now that it really did help, even when I thought it wasn't. She told me that since she was just an on call Reg that she couldn't change my medication and that it would have to be up to my own head Psychiatrist Dr. Kirrane on Tuesday to make changes. She did, however, write a prescription for Xanax just until Monday to help with the panic attacks. Five hours waiting only to be told that I will have to stay on the Prozac until at least Tuesday. Still, I have to say that she was a lovely Doctor and was very understanding and really listened to me. We had to drive to Boots in Roselawn to fill the prescription because every other pharmacy was closed. I was psychically and emotionally exhausted when I got home so I took another Xanax and went to bed. I'll never forget that PAnic Attack as long as I live.

Annie, I know you're going to say I was being a Drama Queen, and I probably was, but the fear nearly drove me insane yesterday and I had to speak to a professional.
