Medication side effects Racing heart really scared.

My doctor started me on omeprazole a few days ago and everytime I exercise now my heart RACES for hours after it wont settle I went for a jog about an hour ago and its still racing so much feel faint and scared of having a heart attack or something what should i do?

Make sure you're hydrated, drink plenty of water. You won't faint or have a heart attack so just relax and try to keep calm! Call your GP to discuss the side effect as I'm sure you can be switched to a more suitable alternative.
