Quick Q re: times to take 2x75mg slow release tablets

Hi guys,

I was started on 75mg of Venlafaxine a week a go and now I have to start taking two of the tablets - I've been taking the one tablet with my evening meal but after a meeting with Occ Health at work today, the nurse suggested taking that with breakfast and the second tablet with lunch, it didn't occur to me to check that was suitable for the modified release tablets, if anyone else takes 2 could you let me know when you take them.

Hi if there the modified release tablets then you only need to take them once a day but if its just the normal venlafaxine then they recommend you take them aprox 12 hours apart, Im on the modified release and take mine after breakfast, its best to take them with food as they can upset your tummy x x

Hi Ruby. I increased about two weeks ago. I also take both tablets in the morning x
