HI everyone
Im back again cos still having problems :-(
My throat issue is playing up again and want to see if anyone can relate - i know the feeling of something being stuck in my throat but im alos gettin a sharp pain to the right of my throat - worse when swallowing - is this globus hyster.... related

Ive been having bad indigestion for years and now ive convinced myself that ive damaged my throat. Went to doctor this morning and he gave me tablets for indigestion is is talking about sending me for an endoscopy. Ive never had the sharp pain before

Please can someone advise as Ive been googling.............

Hi

Cant give u any advice. Just wanted you to know that iv been getting a sharp pain in my throat since this morning.

I recently reduced my anti depressents so im hoping its just a side effect of coming of my meds.

Gday dark
Had the same thing for years.Like something dry and sharp is in the side of the throat .No idea what it is but it comes and goes and according to the doc there's nothing wrong so the only conclusion is anxiety (again)

hi dark,
i had this at the begining of the year. at first i was told it was globus hyster but upon having further tests it came to light i was suffering from acid reflux. this too can cause the lump in your throat feeling as well as bad heartburn , indegestion.

of course having anxiety dosn't help the situation.
i hope you get it sorted soon.

hi thanks everyone
penny, i can totally relate to what yopu have written and feel a bit more relaxed about it now - thats what my doctor says is causing it too - acid reflux.
