Hello I am Ben, 31 years old from Wales. I am Disabled with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus and have a shunt in my head to deal with the HC.

I suffer a little tiny bit from health anxiety and would love to chat with others and hopefully help as much as I can.

Nice to have another person with hydrocephalus to "talk" to. I've had it since birth. Only 4 shunt surgeries fortunately. I don't have SB.

TBH I think the ops in childhood started my anxiety disorder.

Hi Mark. I have had it since birth too & luckily I have had only the one shunt surgery, when I was a baby. This one has lasted 31 years. :D

My shunt revisions were at 8, 12 and 40, so I had a 28 year "rest" :)

Glad yours is going strong.
